Special Events - July 4th Information

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) operates a special Music City Star train for the July 4th celebration at Riverfront Park. The train departs from Lebanon Station, with stops in Martha, Mt. Juliet, Hermitage and Donelson before arriving at Nashville's Riverfront Station.

An allotment of 900 tickets is available to the general public and cost $12 for a round-trip ticket. Parking is free at all of the outlying stations.

Customers receive only one ticket for the round-trip and must show the ticket to the conductor when boarding on both trips. Children age 4 and under do not need a ticket to board; however, they are required to sit in their parents' lap. Weekday Music City Star tickets and passes are not accepted on the July 4th train.

Any items that will not fit underneath the seat, such as large coolers, bikes and wagons, are not permitted on the train. Backpacks and folding chairs are allowed onboard.
