Three types of tickets are available for the RTA Music City Star:
- Single-Trip Tickets: One-way travel between two stations.
- 10-Ride Tickets: Ten one-way trips between two stations that can be used anytime.
- Monthly Passes: Unlimited travel between two stations during one month.

NOTE: Tickets are not sold onboard the RTA Music City Star. If you board the train without a valid ticket, your fare will be $75.00. There is no charge for children age 4 and under.
Online Sales of Monthly Passes and 10-Ride Tickets
You can purchase Monthly Passes and 10-Ride Tickets online at the Nashville MTA Web site at www.nashvillemta.org. If you have questions, or do not receive your items within a reasonable amount of time, please contact Customer Care at 615-862-5950 or email rta@nashville.gov.
Retail Ticket Sales
Single-Trip Tickets
You can purchase Single-Trip One-Way Tickets from the Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) located on the platform at each station. The machines accept $5 and $20 bills only; they do not accept credit cards. If a TVM malfunctions and does not give you a ticket, it should still dispense a "Transaction Failed" receipt. You can use this receipt to board the train. If more than one ticket was purchased but not received, please contact Customer Care at 615-862-5950 or email rta@nashville.gov.
Ticket Sales at Riverfront Station
Ten-Ride Tickets and Monthly Passes are available at Riverfront Station, located at 108 1st Avenue South in downtown Nashville at the foot of Broadway, adjacent to the Flag Court and the Shelby Avenue Bridge, from 6:30 to 9 a.m., and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. You can purchase these tickets with a check, money order, mobility check or cash. Pre-purchased Single-Trip tickets are not available at Riverfront Station.

Holiday Operations
The RTA Music City Star does not operate on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
